A shocking and tragic incident occurred as a woman was found dead and wrapped in plastic by a horrified mom in her son's room. She has been identified as a "kind and fun" 30-year-old.

The deceased, Hannah Rachel Collins, was named by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office as the victim after the mom walked into her son's room; she has now been pictured via social media, and tributes have been paid.

Hannah was found dead in the bedroom of the 26-year-old man on Sunday at around 1.15 a.m. by his mother. The suspect's name has not been released. The stunned mother immediately called paramedics to her South Central LA home. Hannah was pronounced dead at the scene.

The homeowner was not able to locate her son at the time of the discovery. Neighbors said they did not hear or see any suspicious activity at the home in recent days.

The mother said she first went into the son's room to investigate a 'distinct gas smell, but instead she discovered the horrifying scene of Collins' body bundled up in plastic.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the young woman's death remain a mystery for now as police continue their investigation. There are currently no arrests.

A family member of Rachel told The Post that she was “fun, kind, and loved music and dancing," while a friend said she drifted apart from her family as she pursued a "party" lifestyle.

“I don’t like to hang out with people who do drugs or are intoxicated while they’re driving or stealing things,” the friend said.

“I’m in shock because what I want to associate with Hannah are the happier and healthier memories I have of her. She probably sought that lifestyle with drugs, but you never imagined the end would be so cold and cruel.”

She celebrated her birthday just two weeks ago, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. Elsewhere in California, a Southern California judge charged with murdering his wife during a drunken argument Tuesday pleaded not guilty to one murder charge, but his attorney said it was a "mistake.

"Shooting” was a fact. Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson, 72, was arrested after his adult son called 911 after reporting that his mother, Cheryl Ferguson, was shot at his parents' home in the posh Anaheim Hills neighborhood, the paper said in a statement.

Ferguson texted the clerk and bailiff to tell them that he had shot his wife, according to the files. He wrote, "I just got lost. I just shot my wife. I won't be there tomorrow. will be detained. I am very sorry," the file read. He was charged with murder and abuse of arms in one case. He was released the next day on $1 million bail.
