In the final week before the transfer window's closure, the realm of football transfers remains active, with a potentially significant exchange hovering on the horizon involving two European giants. As reported by the German outlet 'Bild', Bayern Munich, reigning Bundesliga champions, have expressed keen interest in securing the services of Manchester United's midfielder, Scott McTominay, potentially through a loan agreement. In this dynamic scenario, a swap deal has been mooted, involving Bayern potentially offering Ryan Gravenberch to Manchester United in return.

With a robust track record of more than 200 appearances for Manchester United, Scott McTominay stands as an attractive proposition for Bayern Munich, as they seek to reinforce their midfield contingent. McTominay's seasoned experience, particularly in the role of a holding midfielder, could potentially bring added depth and solidity to the German side's lineup.

While McTominay has exhibited commendable performances during his tenure at Old Trafford, his recent demotion down the pecking order has limited his playing time. This season, the 26-year-old Scottish international has only managed brief cameos off the bench, emphasizing his diminished role within the team.

Amid these developments, 'Bild' has unveiled the intriguing possibility of a swap deal materializing between the two clubs. Reportedly, Bayern Munich is contemplating offering Ryan Gravenberch, a player currently in their ranks, to Manchester United in exchange. Gravenberch, a Dutch midfielder, has not consistently secured a starting spot, having only initiated three matches in the previous season out of a total of 24 appearances.

As the transfer window's end looms near, the intricate negotiations between Bayern Munich and Manchester United suggest the potential for a significant shuffle within the ranks of these prominent football clubs, adding an element of suspense and anticipation to the footballing landscape.

With over 200 appearances for the Red Devils, the Scottish international is a great choice for a German side looking for an experienced holding midfielder.

Despite the 26-year-old's good performances at Old Trafford, he has fallen down the pecking order and has only made two short appearances off the bench so far this season.

The same outlet has also reported that there have been talks over a swap deal, with Bayern giving up Ryan Gravenberch to Erik ten Hag's side in return. The Dutchman is also not a regular starter, making just three starts last season out of 24 appearances.
