Here are five tips on how to have a happy relationship:


1. Respect: Respect is essential for a strong and healthy relationship. Express appreciation and value your partner's opinions and feelings. Instead of shouting, fighting, during arguments or disagreement, try to understand their point of view, feelings, and emotions.


2. Adequate time: Spending quality time with your partner is essential. It doesn't have to be extravagant; you can simply cook together, share a cup of coffee, play games or take a class together.


3. Avoid excessive screen time: Spending time together without the distraction of screens can strengthen your connection. Try going for a stroll or engaging in activities that allow you to focus on each other actively.



4. Pay attention to the small details: You don't need grand gestures to show love and care for your partner.  Small gestures like running errands, Cooking your partner's favourite meal, or leaving love notes can make a significant impact in your relationship. This also allows them to feel secure and safe whenever they around you.


5. Intimacy: Physical intimacy is vital in a relationship. Holding hands, kissing, hugging, and giving massages can release oxytocin and enhance the bond between partners.

6.7 Support each other’s individual goals

Another thing that similarly brings two partners together is supporting each other’s individual goals. 


Happy couples do that because they apprehend that each partner has their own individual goals and interests. They support each other in achieving these goals rather than seeing them as a threat to the relationship.
