The youth and people in Nsawam Adoagyiri were seen clan in red and black saying that they won't allow the Kingmake of  the Abuakwa traditional area to control them or add Adoagyiri to his territory. He should know better than other and what he is doing is totally wrong and we are not happy with the decision he is making now.

In the Eastern Region's Nsawam Adoagyiri, a shooting incident has claimed the lives of two people.

Following a rekindled chieftaincy dispute in the area on Tuesday, four people, including the two unnamed individuals, were shot and brought to the Nsawam government hospital with bullet wounds.

One individual was shot last week, just after certain kingmakers from the Abuakwa Traditional Council did so while being heavily guarded by law enforcement and the military.

a circumstance that infuriated Akyem Kotoku-honoring citizens of Nsawam Adoagyiri.

After returning from the Ofori Panin Fie in Kyebi and swearing an oath to Okyehene and the Abuakwa  Traditional Council following his enstoolment last week, Chief Barima Adu Korkoor III led a float through the main streets of Nsawam on Tuesday, according to sources.

Residents in the neighborhood are growing more concerned about insecurity despite the fact that police have started their investigations into the violent incident that resulted in the deaths of the two people in the municipality.

They worry that if the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, and all other relevant parties do not act right away, retaliation strikes could worsen the situation.

There is a heavy security presence on the ground to ensure that more lives are not lost. The Ghana Police Force is currently at Nsawam Adoagyiri to calm the situation and also safeguard the people and properties.
