The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pushing hard to bid to host the 2034 World Cup to cement its status as one of the emerging football countries.

For the past 2 to 5 years, Saudi Arabia has invested in and hosted a lot of sporting events such as the Golf Championship, WWE Championship, Tennis, Formula 1, Moto GP, and many other sporting events.

Their reputation for hosting smooth and fair sporting events will be the main plus that could catalyst their bid. There's a good variety of stories about the 2034 World Cup that Saudi Arabia wants to host.

According to other sources, Saudi Arabia had originally considered hosting the 2030 World Cup in conjunction with Egypt and Greece but now plans to host 2034 on its own. Although the Saudis insist that the World Cup can be held in the summer, that is seen as challenging.

Mohammed Salah is attracting a huge deal from the Ssaudi Pro-League

Saudi clubs are spending high to lure some noted players to their league as they have already succeeded in luring some of them and there is a rumor that Mohamed Salah has been targeted.

According to Transfermarkt.com, clubs from the Saudi Pro League have collectively spent $489 million so far this summer, roughly on the same level as France's Ligue 1, the German Bundesliga, and ahead of Spain's La Liga.

The Saudi Pro League has signed some exciting players who can help them build their league and brand of football. Their national team shocked the world when they beat almighty Argentina, which stood as a wake-up call for the South American giants to clinch the World Cup.

Players such as Ronaldo, Benzema, Ngolo Kante, Firmino, Mane, and many more quality players have now been enticed by the eye-watering money.

FIFA has come out to bash them to develop their own players for their league instead of buying famous players. Hosting the 2034 World Cup could in fact help them to become a powerhouse of football someday according to the investment they are embarking on in football.

The Saudi Arabian government has already started to buy some teams in Europe, Asia, and the Americas with the latest addition being Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
