WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD WE SERVE
The Bible makes it clear that it is not God who is to blame for all the awful things that occur. God is innocent!
He wants us to have a peaceful world of joy with no regrets.
NAHUM 1:7 7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
God is not a horrible man. He is not opposed to you. He is the solution to your issues.
DEUTERONOMY 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Never has God acted unfairly or unjustly. He is perfect in all He does!
LUKE 6:35 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Jesus claimed that God even loves His enemies!
PSALM 145:8 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
God is loving, kind, gracious, and abundant. He wants what's best for everybody. God and His love are the source of everything wonderful in our lives.
JAMES 1:17 1 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
JOHN 4:8 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
Giving is the definition of love, and God is love. God prioritizes the needs of others. He is not egotistical. He is prepared to endure so that you won't have to.
Jesus Christ is the best example of what God is like if you want to know. He gave us a perfect revelation of God.
JOHN 1:18 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
PSALM 86:5 5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
JEREMIAH 9:24 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
EXODUS 34:6 6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
PSALM 107:1 1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.
SAY THIS: What a blessing it is to understand that God is merciful!
