HOW TO GROW IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
If you want to develop a personal relationship with God, start by praying and reading his word consistently.
This is the most important way to grow your relationship with him because practically, no relationship would thrive without intentional communication. God is sovereign but he would never force us to spend time with him. Take time to read scripture and learn about God’s will. Pray and begin to experience his love.
Improving our relationship with God as Christians is crucial in today’s chaotic world. It brings peace, stability, guidance, and direction amidst confusion. Nurturing this connection strengthens our faith, empowers us to face challenges, and provides purpose and meaning.
Drawing closer to God fills us with hope, even in difficult times. A strong relationship allows us to experience His love, be a source of inspiration, and keep our priorities in check. It brings joy and fulfillment beyond earthly desires.
2 Peter 3:18 18 But grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
How do you need to grow in your relationship with God? How about keeping both grace and knowledge as your goal at the same time? We usually go after one or the other. But when one of these things is more important than the other, something in our souls seems to break. Let's keep grace and knowledge together because our Savior has both.
Holy God, I want to be more like Jesus as I get older. I know I can't do that without the power of your Spirit and the desire of my heart. Also, dear Father, I want to become a more kind person. I want to know that Jesus is with me and feel it.
Deepening our relationship with God involves knowing Him and following His desires for us. Obeying His commandments not only strengthens our bond with Him but also becomes an act of worship.
It sets us apart and demonstrates our dedication to God’s kingdom. As we grow closer to God, obedience to His commands aligns more naturally with our desires (Deuteronomy 11:1).
Deuteronomy 11:1 1 Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws, and his commands always. That's how we can build a relationship with His Son Jesus as well ( John 11:35) 35 I and my Father are one.
Doing random acts of kindness has also helped me to have a better relationship with God.
Prayer: Please bless me as I try to find God, by obeying and walking by His word. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen
May God increase and Bless you
May He Favor You
Receive speed in Jesus' Name Amen
