WHY WOMEN NEED TO BE STRONGER

A woman's potential in achieving her goals has no limits. Strong women in our society show that they can do better what men have been doing for the longest time – excelling in careers and fields that were previously dominated by men.

Many of our world leaders nowadays are women. Even in the field of sports, a lot of Filipinas have been making their mark, showing that they too can take the title. In careers like engineering and other field work that may be physically taxing, women are not backing down.

The women of today are not afraid to take on any challenge and career or path - however, strong as these women are, some are forgetting to take care of their health in the process.

Some women, especially those who are older, may have Osteoporosis without knowing it.

Osteoporosis is a "silent disease" that weakens the bones. Some may not even know that they have this disease until a bone breaks. However, some may experience stooped posture, spine malformations, or even loss in height. While others may suffer from recurring pain in their back, hips, and knees.

A study shows that more women are at risk of osteoporosis due to hormonal changes as they age. Hormonal changes such as loss of estrogen, that happen in during menopause, directly affect bone density, making it weak and brittle. That is why women need to focus on their bone health as much as they focus on their careers, raising a family, and their goals.

However, men, just like women, may also be affected by osteoporosis. According to research, osteoporosis in men has become a major global health problem over the last decade.

A study reveals that almost 80% of Filipino women are at risk of developing osteoporosis, and 60% of men aged over 70, are at the same risk as well. While only 57% of Filipinos consume the daily recommended calcium intake.

In early adult life, during your 20s, your bones are in their thickest and strongest state. However, around the age of 35 people start to lose bone strength.

So, to help prevent the risk of osteoporosis, it is advisable to take do exercise to help strengthen bones, eat a healthy and balanced diet, and take a supplement that contains calcium and high level of vitamin D. Vitamin D helps in good calcium absorption.

(Cholcalciferol + Minerals) Caltrate Advance has Triple Alaga Formula with a higher level of vitamin D (vs. previous formulation) to help support strong bones, muscles, and flexible joints, along with proper diet and exercise. Caltrate Advance may be taken by both men and women.

Its Triple Alaga Formula contains 600mg of calcium and zinc to help strengthen bones, higher levels of Vitamin D (vs previous formulation) and magnesium to help strengthen muscles, manganese and copper to help support flexible joints.

Taking (Cholcalciferol + Minerals) Caltrate Advance every day, with proper diet and exercise, may possibly help prevent the risk of osteoporosis in adults and may help prevent recurring pain in wrists, neck, back, and hips which may be due to hypocalcemia or calcium and vitamin D deficiency.

Throughout history, strong women have been shaping the world. Some did it in noticeable ways that society still honors and remembers long after their deaths. Others have quietly pressed for women’s rights and equality without a lot of fanfare. But they have all brought about change in their own way and deserve our gratitude for the great strides they’ve made for women’s rights around the world.

Different centuries are marked by the rise of remarkable women who were unstoppable. They changed the status quo and paved the way for the rest of us. Modern life would look very different for women without their powerful influences.
