As the shocking Napoli row grows, Victor Osimhen alerts Premier League clubs about a transfer.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen guided Napoli to a historic Serie A triumph last season, but his relationship with the Italian club has worsened subsequently, and he could be on the move sooner rather than later.

Victor Osimhen, a Napoli striker, has placed Premier League clubs on high alert after threatening to sue his own club.

Osimhen is "reserving the right to take legal action" against Napoli in response to a TikTok video in which he appears to be mocked for missing a penalty. The video shows Osmihen missing a penalty against Bologna on Saturday, with a sped-up voice overlaid. It was afterwards removed.

Osimhen, a Nigerian international, helped Napoli win their first title in 30 years last season but has yet to sign a new contract in Naples, and his current term expires in 2025. He is one of Europe's hottest strikers, with Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City among his Premier League suitors.

"A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted," stated Osimhen's representative, Roberto Calenda. A major fact that causes significant harm to the athlete and adds to the abuse that the boy has had in the recent time of media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any other necessary steps to safeguard Victor."

During Napoli's recent tie with Bologna, there appeared to be tension between Osimhen and new Napoli manager Rudi Garcia. The striker was seen complaining about being pulled off late in the game.

The Frenchman downplayed the event, claiming that the missed penalty was not one of the reasons he was taken out. "The missed penalty happens to the greatest players in football history," he explained.

"Obviously, I spoke to him about his departure, but what I said to him and the team, he still remains in the locker room." I may not be pleased with their performance, but because we have a large squad, everyone must be utilised. He is the one who takes the consequence."
