WHEN IS IT RIGHT TO GLORIFY GOD

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. Luke 2:20

The shepherds were told in Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. They went into the towns with joy after they saw the savior in a manger and with praises and glorified God.

Do you glorify God and when?  Is it when you hear any good news or have you already heard of the savior and will glorify him always?

After such a scary night, can you picture the shepherds going back to their flocks? They had seen that God was great. They knew angels were there because they had seen them. They had seen the baby King, who was the promised Messiah and the world's Savior. Even more surprising was that it was exactly as they had been told. As amazing as the angel's words were when he told them, they came true in a glorious way. On top of everything Jesus was when he was born, he is also the answer to God's biggest promises and the best proof that God keeps his word. God chose shepherds, whose names we don't know and who didn't seem important to their peers, to be the people who saw and took part in God's glorious story of salvation. Our Father does this to remind us that Jesus came for us, no matter who we are, because we are important to him.

Let's Pray:  Lord God Almighty, I can only imagine what those shepherds must have felt when they saw your glory. But, dear Father, I know how much I care about Jesus. I thank you for loving me and letting your grace reach my heart. Make me holy and righteous through the work of your Holy Spirit as I try to live my life to show you how much I appreciate everything you've done for me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

May God increase and Bless you

May He Favor You

Receive speed in Jesus' Name Amen
