MAN HAS BEEN STABBED TO DEATH BY A WOMAN WHO HATE HIM

A grieving family has paid tribute to a “kind” and “harmless” man who was tragically stabbed to death last Friday in what police are treating as a crime of racial hatred.

Hubert Brown, affectionately known as Issac, suffered a knife wound in the attack in St Paul's, Bristol, at around 3.20pm. The 61-year-old man was taken to the hospital but later died. Residents detained a woman until police arrived.

A 36-year-old woman, Christina Howell, has been charged with murder and appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court today for a brief preliminary hearing. The victim's family said they were "truly devastated" by the loss.

In an emotional statement released by police, they said: “During this difficult time, our family is heartbroken and deeply saddened by the passing of Hubert, loved by many called Isaac. He was such a kind and harmless person, it's heartbreaking that his life ended so tragically.

“Accepting that he is no longer with us has been incredibly challenging and we have struggled to understand and accept the circumstances of his death. Hubert was a beloved member of our community and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who worked hard to help him during this time, as well as the police during the investigation.

We remain grateful to the community for their quick action to help the injured man and assist with our investigation immediately following this tragedy. » Howell has been remanded in custody and her case will be heard tomorrow at Bristol Crown Court.
