Social media users express concern over the bad behaviors of the Nigerian police force. In a trending video that is fast gaining attention on social media, a video posted saw a Nigerian civilian running for his life while he was being chased by some alleged police officers without uniforms. The cause for the hot pursuit is yet to be known, but according to some x formerly Twitter users, the practice of the police picking up innocent people at night to extort money from them has been going on for years now.
At the beginning of the video, the civilian was seen walking in a neighborhood in what seems to be where he stays, a white van stopped beside him and two men suspected to be policemen began chasing him down, the young man who seemed to know what was about to happen quickly dash off and the police chased after him in hot pursuit while a neighbor who was standing in his balcony recorded all this on camera. The video upon its being posted online generated a whole lot of comments, user shared their various experiences and views on the matter.
