HOW TO GET GOOD NETWORK ON YOUR SIM BY CREATING NEW APN SETTINGS TO BOOST YOUR NETWORK SPEED
To improve network speed on your SIM card, you can try creating new APN (Access Point Name) settings. Here's how you can do it:
1. Go to the "Settings" menu on your device. 2. Look for the "Mobile Network" or "Cellular Network" option and tap on it. 3. In the Mobile Network settings, find the "Access Point Names" or "APN" option and select it. 4. You will see a list of existing APN settings. Tap on the "+" or "Add" button to create a new APN.
5. Fill in the required fields with the following information:
- Name: Enter a name for the new APN (e.g., "Custom APN"). - APN: Contact your mobile network provider to obtain the correct APN for your SIM card. It is usually in the format of "internet" or "data." - Proxy: Leave this field blank. - Port: Leave this field blank. - Username and Password: Leave these fields blank unless provided by your mobile network provider. - Server: Leave this field blank. - MMSC: Leave this field blank. - MMS Proxy: Leave this field blank. - MMS Port: Leave this field blank. - MCC: Contact your mobile network provider to obtain the correct Mobile Country Code. - MNC: Contact your mobile network provider to obtain the correct Mobile Network Code. - Authentication Type: Select "None" or "PAP" (Password Authentication Protocol). - APN Type: Select "default" or "internet." 6. Once you have filled in the necessary information, tap on the three-dot menu icon or "Save" to save the new APN settings. 7. After saving, select the newly created APN as your default APN by tapping on it in the APN settings list. 8. Restart your device to apply the new APN settings. 9. Once your device restarts, check if the network speed has improved. You can perform a speed test or browse the internet to see the difference. Note: The effectiveness of creating new APN settings may vary depending on your mobile network provider and location. If you don't notice any improvement in network speed, you can revert to the default APN settings or contact your mobile network provider for further assistance.
