Boxing champion and Manchester United fan Tyson Fury has praised Andre Onana after the goalkeeper's penalty save secured a vital three Champions League points for the Red Devils.
The summer signing has attracted his share of criticism after some error-filled performances, but he was effective on Tuesday night as United claimed their first Champions League title of the season. Copenhagen received a penalty in the 94th minute but still could not equalize.
Onana made a brilliant save against Jordan Larsson, the son of former United player Henrik. Old Trafford was delighted, as were the fans who weren't there, among them Fury.
The heavyweight boxer is a long-term supporter of the club and commented on Onana's Instagram to show his love. The Cameroon international said on social media: "For all Mancunians, for us, for Sir Bobby Charlton.
We are UNITED." Fury then replied: "GETTTTTUPPPPP" and Onana turned back to him with a welcome emoji. Erik ten Hag was questioned following the decision to let David de Gea leave the club and then spend nearly £50 million to recruit Onana.

The former Inter Milan goalkeeper has excelled in Italy but has struggled in Manchester so far, but showed his worth on Tuesday. His manager said: "He has shown character. He knows that before, with his skill level, he was not up to his level and he can do better.
I thought on Saturday [against Sheffield United], it was a very good performance." and today too. Don't forget that brilliant save just after half-time during a counter-attack. And don't forget, one of his skills is being very good at saving penalties."
Onana rarely kept a clean sheet during his time as a United player, but his save against Larsson ensured a rare clean sheet. “I just need to do my job, you know,” he said. "I had to do it for us to win, to win against a very tough opponent, we had a great game.
Great goal from the big man, Harry, and I'm very happy , we have to continue to maintain that." He also added: "Of course [there is a possibility of recovery]. We are Manchester United, we are a very big club with great players.
So it's just a matter of time, Now we have to continue like this and we will get through this.” ". United are now back in contention to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League after losing their opening two matches.
They are only 1 point behind Galatasaray, ranked 2nd with 3 matches remaining.
