Hearts of Oak emerged victorious in a spectacular showdown against reigning champions Medeama, securing a resounding 3-1 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Martin Koopman, the mastermind behind this incredible feat, couldn't hide his pride as he praised his players, confirming their abilities on the field.
Hamza Issah starred with two spectacular goals, while Salifu Ibrahim sealed the deal with a flawless third strike.
"Still I was looking for that but that you are looking for some time else, and we did that for three weeks on training session and everything goes smoothly because all my players can play football," Koopman told reporters after the match.
"Now is only that I need is fighting spirit in the game if you have fighting spirit in this team you can go a lot of points, so hopefully we can continue to do this,"
In their next league game, the Phobians will face Karela United.
