Thiago Silva has seven amazing professionals working with him every day as he reveals his incredible daily schedule.

The veteran defender is still going strong at the age of 39, as he remains an important figure at Chelsea. He has had a legendary career spanning more than 20 years, having dealt with some of the biggest clubs in world football, including AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

What is the key to its longevity? His team of seven experts helps him every day. He has a doctor, a nutritionist, a physiotherapist, an agent, a lawyer, a press manager and a personal trainer who accompany him every day.

Silva sees his team as an investment and one of the reasons for his ability to prolong his successful career. “But today, many young people consider having someone by their side an expense and a waste,” he told the Guardian.

"They think they're wasting money by getting professional help. I think quite the opposite: it's an investment." The Brazilian has a regimented routine that he has to endure because of his jokes, 24 hours is not enough. “24 hours a day doesn't seem like enough,” he said before describing what a typical day would look like.

"This is my day from morning to night: I wake up around 8am and I have to be at Cobham by 8:45. I arrive, I have a coffee, I do what I have to do before training , I'm practicing,” he revealed. "I recover from my workout at the club, then I come home and rest in the hyperbaric chamber for two hours.

I wake up and my team of experts are ready to continue my recovery process." I. There are food, afternoon snacks, dinner, supplements.

I make shoes at home and try to be with my family. "Sometimes I bring my kids [who are at Chelsea's academy] to training and I watch a bit of the training session.

The next day anyway. And the day after that. So nowadays it's more about recovery than actual work. As simple as beautiful." Silva has been at Stamford Bridge since 2020 and has made nine league appearances this season.
