Information gathered by Ghanaian blogger, Edrino Greatness from FremBoss Multimedia through Sofomaame Frema Ototoatuo is that an old market has been commissioned at Domasua and beneficiaries of the market are so happy.
Domasua is a town in Sunyani West, Bono Region. Domasua is a place with a very small population in the region of Brong-Ahafo, Ghana. Domasua is situated nearby to the village Mantukwa and the suburb Fiapre Anhwere.
On 2nd August, 2023, the Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West Municipal Assembly and the Bono Regional Minister paid a working visit to Domasua to ascertain the progress of work on the new market undergoing construction.
Madam Beatrice Afia Boatemaa (Sunyani West Municipal Assembly Works Engineer), Mr. Emmanuel Gyamfi (Assemblyman of the Electoral Area) and Hon. Adane Ankamah.
Upon reaching there, it was realized that when the construction of the concrete floor pavement was done, the market could have finally been handed over to the community.
The member of parliament for Sunyani west municipality, Hon Ignatius Baafour-Awuah, has commissioned and handed over project that were undertaken at Domasua three years ago to the people of Domasua.
The people who were present at the occasion for the commissioning of the project and the handing over were the traditional Area of Domasua,Hon Chief executive officer for Sunyani west and head of various departments.
The municipal chief executive Hon Evans Kusi Boadum, on behalf of Hon Ignatius Baafour-Awuah said, the market was commissoned by Hon Ignatius Baafour-Awuah, three years ago and finally today has come for the unvial and handing over.
Nana Kwame Amponsah ll chief of Dumasua and his elders assured residents residents of the assemblys commitment to help ensure the market in it's best shape and keeping it neat at all times.
Some of the beneficiaries who were present at the ceremony express their gratitude to the MP for this new market, which will enable them to stop selling in an open space.
