A 33-year-old woman gave birth to an unexpected baby girl on October 16 after she was admitted to the IPS Hospital in Capiato City, Paraguay. The anonymous patient was admitted to the hospital at around 6 a.m. complaining of her extreme abdominal pain.
Hospital director Dr. Alba Ramos said doctors observed the patient after he fainted. She was asked if she was pregnant, to which she reportedly replied, "She's not."
The patient was already a mother of two children, but she started bleeding profusely and suddenly went into labor when she was fully dilated. Doctors said they did not have time to take her to a maternity hospital in the city and instead delivered the baby at IPS Hospital, which has a highly trained emergency team.
