Model Lori Harvey and Snowfall star Damson Idris have confirmed they have broken up after a little more than a year of dating.
The couple released a joint statement to E! News on Nov. 7, 2023, announcing their split. "We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication," they said in the statement. "We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together."
Harvey, 26, and Idris, 32, first sparked dating rumors in December 2022, when they were seen having dinner together in Los Angeles. They went public with their relationship in January 2023, when they were spotted holding hands at Harvey's birthday party.
The couple had been relatively private about their relationship, but they did occasionally share photos of each other on social media. In September 2023, Harvey posted a loving tribute to Idris on Instagram for his 32nd birthday.
"Happyyyy Birthdayyyy twinnn!!! I love youuuu," she wrote in the post.
Idris also had kind words for Harvey in a recent interview. "She's an incredible woman," he told E! News. "She's smart, she's funny, she's beautiful, and she's ambitious. I'm so lucky to have her in my life."
It is unclear what led to the couple's breakup, but sources say it was an amicable split.
"They just weren't right for each other anymore," a source told E! News. "They're both young and ambitious, and they realized that their different paths weren't going to align in the long run."
Despite the breakup, Harvey and Idris appear to be on good terms. They continue to follow each other on social media, and they have not made any negative comments about each other.
