Casemiro could leave Manchester United in January following reports that the Saudi Pro League club is interested in signing the Brazilian.
Despite being one of the Red Devils' standout players last season, Casemiro has had a difficult start to the new campaign. The 31-year-old's woes were compounded by a hamstring injury he sustained in United's 3-0 defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
Casemiro joined United from Real Madrid in August 2022 for 60m, but that price and his 300,000-a-week wages have often been questioned by fans given his age.
According to 90 Minutes, Casemiro is currently considered a main target for the Saudi Pro League in 2024 due to his lack of form. The paper added that unlike Bruno Fernandes, who has also been linked with a move to the Middle East, Casemiro "could be more available in January".
This is because ``United may be able to recoup a large portion of the initial costs they have paid for players in the form of transfer fees and wages.'' It is said that United are not keen on signing Casemiro, but they are reportedly willing to sell the midfielder for the right price.

Interestingly, Casemiro still has an incredible four years left on his current contract at Old Trafford, but the club would rather see his stock rise than watch his transfer fee drop over the next few years. They may look to utilize the player while he is still expensive.
A move to the Middle East could give him the chance to reunite with his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nasr, while he could also join up with national teammate Neymar at Al Hilal.
Casemiro has been criticized for his inconsistency since joining Manchester United from Real Madrid.
He has also been criticized by pundits and fans for gaining weight as well as not able to hold the midfield to create chances for the strikers.
