MEALS YOU SHOULD EAT DURING COLD SEASON

As we all know, during the cold season we easily get disease if our immune system is weak. Some of the disease we get attracted to includes; cold, flu, cough, hypothermia and many more.

The season target for this meals is during cold seasons. This is because of the disease we mostly get during winter season. I brought out this idea to boost our immune system and also prevent these disease mentioned above.

 

1. Apples;




Apples are fruit packed with many immunity boosting vitamin such as the Vitamin C and B. Also, it contain highly packed dietary fibre that reduces the rate of cholesterol in the body and other nutrients that protect the body from radicals.

Apples have antioxidants which improve neurological health and reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. As per studies, you should eat an apple in the morning. This is because, apples  are rich in dietary fibre, pectin which can found in it peel. Since most people have digestive issues due to improper sleep or late eating habits, eating apple in the morning is a good idea. This is because apples help to trigger the bowel movement.   

 

2. Honey;




Honey has a low pH, so the acidity provides an environment that bacteria doesn’t like, and the honey works properly as a antibacterial that helps in the fighting of diseases that comes in the body. Honey helps in the treating of sore throats, cold, and coughs during the cold weather. Also it helps in boosting the immune system.

 

3. Dark Chocolate;



There area number of foods rich in vitamins and minerals that actively fight diseases. Eating chocolate can prevent you from diseases that comes in the cold season such as; cold and flu’s.

Dark chocolate is an antitussive agent that will prevent coughs occurring in the first place. It reduces the intensity and length  of coughing. It can be considerably more difficult for those with iron deficiency anemia to fulfill their daily iron requirement during the colder months. It’s easy to feel tired and cold if you are anemic.
