Dwayne Johnson has revealed that he has been approached multiple times to run for president of the United States.
The Black Adam actor revealed on Trevor Noah's new podcast Why Now? that a survey of 30,000 American adults in 2021 revealed that he is interested in running for president in late 2022. He revealed that he had been contacted.
"I was really moved," Johnson said. “I was really moved and really honored.” The former WWE wrestler added, "I'll tell you this a little bit: At the end of 2022, I received a visit from an official asking if I was running or if I could run."
"It was a big event and it happened out of the blue," he continued. “It happened one by one, and they brought this investigation, and they also brought their own in-depth research proving that I would be a true candidate if I ever went down that path.”
