Asante Kotoko coach, Dr. Nartey Ogum has invited 22 players for the trip to Samreboi to face FC Samartex 1996 on Saturday of the Ghana Premier League Matchday 10 fixture.

Ogum has called up the senior players to the team. Augustine Agyapong, Justice Black, and Isaac Oppong have all returned.

The Porcupine Warriors are now winless in their last four games after drawing to Nations FC, Bechem United, and losing to Dreams FC in their previous meetings.

Asante Kotoko are in ominous need of their first win since October 13 when they pipped Aduana FC 1-0 at home with Kalo Ouattara scoring the only goal of the match.

Kotoko has seen more league trophies than any other club in the country.

However, one of Kotoko's major problems that has denied us of modern football infrastructure is our over concentration on the field of play at the detriment of the off the field outputs.

For now, Kotoko's main focus should be on developing the Adako Jachie training complex to a modern football status rather than the perennial over concentration of the team's performance on the green turf.

After the expiration of the 3 year mandate of the erstwhile Dr. Kwame Kyei led Board and the NYA led administration, the king refused to appoint a new board. He subsequently announced a 4 member IMC to steer the affairs of the big club and that meant he was gonna show a keen interest in the club this time around.

Otumfuo Visited the Adako Jachie training complex to inspect the encroached site by himself;an act that reinforced the fact that we gonna see something different this time around.

As a fan, I have always and clearly underscored this position of improving our infrastructural narrative. All that I wanted to see us do in this transitional period is to set our sights on ADAKO JACHIE DEVELOPMENT to meet international admiration but as we talk, nothing has been done there but most fans are rather worried about winning 3 points, or losing the league; something that we have achieved severally. Yes, we gonna celebrate the goals and victories as they come but that shouldn't be enough.

Our big Palace, Manhyia must come clear on their plans for the Adako Jachie training complex. So far, all that we have heard are unsubstantiated rumours that only ignites our intrinsic delight but nothing to show physically.
