??? Sad to learn of the passing of Ghanaian footballer Raphael Dwamena. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Part of a statement by the Albanian Football Federation read "...Dwamena lost consciousness during the match and after the first intervention of doctors on the field of play, he was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Despite the immediate intervention of specialist doctors and all subsequent efforts to bring him back to life, the footballer unfortunately passed away.

Raphael Dwamena has died at the age of 28, on the football field, the media in Albania wrote on Saturday.

In 2020, Danish side Vejle Boldklub terminated the loan of Raphael Dwamena due to heart problems.
In 2021, Raphael Dwamena�s contract was terminated by Austrian club FC Blau Weiss Linz because of heart problems.
In 2023, Raphael Dwamena dies of heart failure while playing for Albanian club, KF Egnatia.
