Founder and leader of the All People Congress (APC), one of the major opposition political party in Ghana, Dr Hassan Ayariga has donated a brand new motor bike to one of the loyal members of the party in the national capital of Ghana, Accra.

All People Congress was established in 2015 from a vibrant young Ghanaian politician who had the experience of leading one of the oldest political in Ghana, the People National Convention (PNC) in the 2012 elections.

Mr Isaac, the beneficiary was overwhelmed by the gesture, and did not hide his gratitude to Dr Ayariga and also promised to do more for the party towards the coming elections.

Ghana goes to the polls in December 2024 to elect a new head of state. Tenure of present president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is to expire by the end of 2024 having ruled the country for eight years. The Constitution of Ghana spells out that, no leader can lead the country for More than eight years. Therefore Mr Nana Addo would have to say goodbye to the people of Ghana by the end of 2024. He has therefore already presented his vice president Dr Mamadi Bawumia to contest in the coming polls.

In the coming elections, political parties and their candidates who are already popular in the country include John Dramania Mahama who is representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Hassan Ayariga who is representing the All People Congress (APC), Dr Mamadi Bawumia who is representing the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Many prominent individuals in Ghana including the star of Bono, the Paramount chief for the Dormaa traditional area Nana Agyemang Duah have so far thrown their weight behind Dr Hassan Ayariga and the All People Congress. Nana Agyemang Duah in the middle of this year asked Ghanaians to try Dr Hassan Ayariga and the APC because the NPP and the NDC have all had the chance to rule the country.

The elections are slated for December 7th, 2024.
