Mr. Logic, I was prepared to pay Sarkodie $10,000 for a feature, but he disregarded me.
Mr. Logic, a radio host and music mogul, has made some disparaging remarks about Ghanaian artist Sarkodie.
Red Panther Music's CEO, Mr. Logic, has said that he attempted multiple times to write songs with Sarkodie as a featured artist, but the rapper rejected the lyrics he submitted.
Mr. Logic continued by saying that, although it didn't work out, he was prepared to pay a certain sum of money to collaborate with Sarkodie.
The hitmaker of "U Go Kill Me," he claimed, asked for the verses, but he never responded.
He stated: "I was ready to go the business way" in an interview with Andy Dosty that was broadcast on Twitter from Hitz 103. 9 FM. Angel informed me that Sarkodie is not concerned with money, even if I was prepared to make an offer. I went up to Angel and told him I was prepared to pay for one of Sarkodie's features. I was prepared to part with $10,000. I told DJ Mensah about my choice over the phone. I should provide DJ Mensah with the music so he can forward it to Sarkodie, but he said the money won't be enough. I followed up on the music after doing that, but it hasn't appeared yet. The tunes were excellent.
"It aches. I am an industry guru, not an industry youngster. I have been working in Ghana and elsewhere for twenty years. I'm not a little child. I was present when Sarkodie gained prominence. He continued, "I have every right to feel this way because I know Sarkodie."
Artists have previously expressed dissatisfaction at Sarkodie abandoning them in exchange for a feature.
Sarkodie's actions have drawn criticism from Freddie Meiway, Kwaw Kese, Edem, Samini, Yemi Alade, Dee Money, E.L., and Sherifa Gunu.
