In a tragic incident along the Ikirun/Offa Expressway, Inisa, on Monday, at least nine passengers lost their lives in a devastating road accident. The unfortunate event occurred when a truck, transporting bags of beans and passengers from Niger State to Edo State, lost control and veered off the road into the bush.

The truck, laden with bags of beans destined for Benin in Edo State, tragically claimed the lives of nine individuals out of the total of 12 on board.
In response to the emergency, officers from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) promptly evacuated the three injured passengers to Orotunde Hospital in Ikirun. Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased were respectfully deposited at the hospital's morgue.
