Over a thousand less fortunate people experience Christmas cheer thanks to Miss Teen Tourism International 2023.

This holiday season, 14-year-old Miss Teen Tourism International 2023 Pamela Milad Chahine has made a positive impact on the lives of over a thousand underprivileged people in Accra through her amazing acts of kindness.

Wearing her crown, Chahine started a humanitarian project called "Operation X'mas on the Street," to cheer up the people who are sometimes forgotten around the holidays. Individuals with disabilities (PWDs), mothers and kids, head porters (Kayayies), and a few drivers were among the recipients.

Food, water, and various drinks were given out by the young beauty queen to people in need at Dzowolu, Achimota Bus Terminal Lapaz, Darkuman Station, Kaneshie,

In August, Pamela Milad Chahine won the Miss Teen Tourism Pageant in Ghana. The competition gave her a newfound sense of identity and self-confidence. Looking back on her experiences, Chahine said that the event had benefited her development. "I won the crown, and I don't want it to be there just like that, so we are using it to spread joy and love to everyone on the street through our PMC Foundation," Pamela declared.

In addition to her status as a beauty queen, Chahine is enthusiastic about advancing travel to Ghana. Chahine wants to use her position as queen to promote reform and increase tourism to Ghana's tourist attractions while the government strives to establish the nation as a travel center.

Dispelling myths about Africa, Pamela said, "Expect big things from me because I am not going down without making a big mark in this world." "Many people think that Ghana and the African continent are full of poor people, meanwhile, the narrative is different, so I want to use my crown to advocate for change and draw many people to visit our tourist sites and love Ghana and Africa."

Lauretta Asamoah, a spokesperson for Pure Zion Drinking Water, expressed her satisfaction with Chahine's efforts and promised the company will continue to assist the beauty queen in all of her future endeavors. She also called attention to the detrimental effects of illicit mining (Galamsey) on the supply of transportable drinking water and encouraged relevant parties to put a stop to these operations.

Chahine encouraged young people to be self-assured and follow their ambitions in her parting speech. "Life is like a journey, and you have to take each step at a time, so don't be afraid to go for what you want, believe in yourself, and you can achieve it."
