1.Real Madrid Vs Bayern Munich-Bayern have every right to feel aggrieved and cheated after the controversial decisions made during.their quarter final match against Real Madrid.in the Second leg.After losing the first leg to Real Madrid,Bayern Munich came in to the second leg on a one goal deficit.
After a goalless first half,Bayern took the lead after Arjen Robben won a dubious penalty from a fair ceasefire challenge.Then came the first controversial moment,Lewandowski was in onside position when he latched onto a long ball which would have left him in one on one situation against Keylor Navas the Real Madrid goalkeeper but he was wrongly flagged offside.Then Arturo Vidal was undeservedly sent off after he clearly won the ball fairly from Marco Asensio.
To add insult to injury in extra time,Cristiano Ronaldo Scored two clear offside goals but were given.So it was quite understandable when Bayern lodged a complaint after the game but there was nothing that could be done about the situation and this one of the main reasons which led to the creation of VAR(Video Assistant Referee).
2.Chelsea vs Barcelona-where do uneven begin,when i watched the match,it felt like Chelsea were clearly set up in the game by to lose they had at least six penalty calls(YES SIX) and not one was even given and Barcelona manage to get away with it(Chelsea got their revenge three seasons later against Barcelona).
Chelsea were the better side and had the better chances.8n the match but were just wasteful.Who knows had they been a bit more clinical in the box we wouldn't be having this discussion but it doesn't take away the fact that the controversial and unfair calls made against Chelsea by the referee left Chelsea every right to feel aggrieved and and angry.
