As you watch TB Joshua’s documentary, please bear in mind what I am about to say. This is not me supporting him, but I want to state some facts as I have been following this story since he passed away. If you are familiar with Scoan (Synagogue Church of All Nations), you will know that TB Joshua had wise men and disciples.
Approximately 85% of these wise men and disciples were foreigners. Before the prophet’s passing, these individuals held significant power. On most Sundays, they would handle deliverance, prayers, and other ministrations. It’s also important to note that TB Joshua had a wife named Evelyn, who is also a prophetess. She held this title before marrying TB Joshua. While her husband was alive, she would occasionally come out to preach and join in ministering to church members.
At some point, she had a baby or something similar, and she focused more on her home life, rarely preaching or participating in the Sunday deliverance. Due to the overwhelming membership of the church, TB Joshua ordained these wise men and disciples as he couldn’t handle the prayer line alone. Many of these wise men began emulating him and became very powerful.
Some even left to start their own ministries, such as wise man Daniel and wise man John Chi, who left while TB Joshua was still alive. However, he still had a significant number of wise men and disciples, many of whom were not Nigerians. Now, this is where the story gets interesting. Allegedly, when TB Joshua died, these wise men and disciples took charge of the church, claiming that the prophet intended for them to take over.
They said that TB Joshua had told them they would succeed him. These individuals marginalized Evelyn, TB Joshua’s wife, pushing her to the background despite her being a prophetess. This conflict escalated, with the disciples and wise men oppressing Evelyn to the point that one day, she took action. It was alleged that she used immigration to deport all the foreigners who wanted to take over the church from her.
The way she deported all of them was quite amusing. She also dealt with some of the Nigerians who had sided with the foreign wise men and disciples. Currently, she is the lead pastor of Scoan, and she has fully taken over the church. Interestingly, the church is thriving.
Evelyn possesses a special gift of healing, and her church services are packed, much like when her husband was alive. After reading this story, you should understand why this story about TB Joshua is surfacing now. Evelyn is the target. How dare she fight to take over the church from foreigners? It gives off the vibe of “if we can’t have the church, let’s cripple it.”
TB Joshua is dead, so what is the purpose of this story? To arrest a dead man? Or for what? Before you join in bashing, take a moment to deeply consider these points.
