Chef Faila’s husband, Lt. Reginald Ofusuhene Adjei, has announced that, his wife’s cookathon attempt would be called off tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 10am.
According to him, even though Faila is physically fit to go more hours, he can’t afford to put her health in jeopardy.
He also added that he is extremely proud of her achievement but it’s time for her to relax and enjoy the fruit of her labor.

Chef Faila’s decision to extend her cookathon was motivated by Mama Dee’s incredible feat—she had previously established the record with an incredible 144 hours of nonstop cooking.
Chef Faila took on the task of double the original cookathon time, driven by her desire to push the boundaries and leave a lasting impression on the culinary world.
