Naturally, excitement is rife following Ghana's Guinness World Record, and prominent media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, sometimes known as Delay, doesn't want to be left out of the revelry.
Delay is on track to break the record for kiss-a-thons, following Afua Asantewaa Aduonum's attempt last week to create a new record for sing-a-thons and Abdul-Razak Failatu's ongoing cook-a-thon.
The host of the Delay show requested Ghanaians to suggest a companion for her kissing journey in a Facebook post yesterday.
"I'd want to propose to my kissing partner and have a Kiss-A-Thon. Get me a decent kisser, please," she wrote.
Delay should have no trouble finding a partneru because Kumawood actor Yaw Dabo has already announced that he will be participating in a kissa-thon.
Yaw Dabo recently said that he was up for a kissing marathon and that he required a partner in an interview with the Tamale media to assist Failatu on her ongoing cook-a-thon record.
Yaw Dabo and Delay will make an interesting kissa-thon team because so many people nominated him in the comments section of the aforementioned post.
In addition to Yaw Dabo, Osebo The Zaraman, a fashion entrepreneur and Kumawood actor, and rapper Amerado Burner were suggested as the project's ideal partners.
"As a thank you for the best song in 2023 Kweku Ananse," Martin Elorm Dogbo commented in the comment area.
Associated articles: Speaking, Chef Faila's army spouse says, "I trained her the military way." Vice President Bawumia supports Tamale Chef's daring bid to break the cook-a-thon record.
Many Ghanaians have also stated that they plan to start projects akin to Afua Asantewaa's, after she concluded her attempt at the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Among them are notable figures such as media personality Abeiku Santana, who plans to undertake a talk-a-thon, and actress Adu Sarfowaa, who has scheduled her speech-a-thon for February 9–14.
