Sammy Flex, real name Samuel Atuobi Baah, stated in a Tuesday, January 16 discussion with Graphic Showbiz that "managing Shatta Wale is not that difficult if you understand him."
It is up to the person managing him; all you need to do is comprehend him and give him the benefit of the doubt. You can work with someone for a very long period if there is mutual respect and his private life is not my concern.
You know, you can't tell someone like Shatta Wale what's appropriate or inappropriate. He's familiar with the rules of the game and knows what suits him. Sammy Flex was asked how he would feel if they ever had a falling out and Shatta Wale treated him like his two past managers, Bullgod and Mr. Logic. He replied, "I just hope and pray that it doesn't come to that." I'm the calm kind that can deal with a person like Shatta Wale. There was nothing like it under his previous managers, Chris Koney, Nana Dope, Willy Wale, and Kofi Boat.
"I think they had problems, but because of their mutual respect, none of the things that have been going on have happened. There will always be fireworks, in my opinion, because Shatta Wale is an extrovert, as are his former managers Bullgod and Mr. Logic, Sammy Flex added.
