[Sad News] Nursing student found dead.
A 26-YEAR-OLD nursing students passion to save lives has sadly been cut short after she was discovered dead in her room.
Agnes Mungwato, a nursing student at Getaway to Better Living Nursing School in Monze is believed to have complained of a severe headache prior to her demise.
She was then taken to the clinic where she was prescribed some medication, but sadly she was found lifeless by her fellow students who tried to wake her up the next morning.
Southern Province Deputy Commanding officer Moono Namalongo said the incident occurred on January 23rd around 06:00 hours.
He said the report was lodged by the schools senior tutor that that one of the students at the school was discovered dead in her room.
Mr Namalongo said the student before her death used to suffer persistent severe headaches which started in May last year and relatives were aware.
He said the school management when she started the course also used to facilitate her with medication.
Brief facts are that on Monday, January 22nd, she complained of the same illness and was taken to Monze urban clinic where she was attended to and afterwards, she was allowed to get back to her residence.
She then took the medicine which was prescribed at the clinic, but the pain persisted. She could not sleep until on January 23rd around 01:00 hours when she fell asleep. When fellow students tried to wake her up in the morning around 06:00 hours, they discovered that she had passed away, he said.
