Obrafour, whose real name is Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, is a renowned Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. Born on February 9, 1976, in Kumasi, Ghana, he emerged as one of the pioneers of the hiplife music genre in the late 1990s and has since had an influential career spanning over two decades.


Obrafour's journey in the music industry began when he joined the rap group, Executioners, in 1996. However, it was his debut solo album, "Pae Mu Ka," released in 1999, that propelled him to national stardom. The album was a massive success, introducing a new wave of rap music to Ghana. Following the success of "Pae Mu Ka," Obrafour went on to release several other critically acclaimed albums, including "Asem Beba Dabi" (2000), "Ntetiepa" (2003), and "Heavy" (2015).
