Michael Carrick, born on July 28, 1981, was a professional footballer who had an illustrious career both domestically and internationally. Carrick primarily played as a central midfielder and was known for his exceptional passing ability, vision, and tactical intelligence.


Carrick began his professional career at West Ham United in 1999. He quickly established himself as a promising prospect and was eventually signed by Tottenham Hotspur in 2004. During his, Carrick garnered attention with his impressive performances in midfield and caught the eye of several top clubs.


In 2006, Carrick made a high-profile move to Manchester United for a fee of around 18 million. This transfer marked the beginning of an incredible journey at one of the biggest clubs in English football. Carrick quickly became an integral part of the United squad, often partnering with the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs in midfield.


Over the course of his 12-year stint at Manchester United, Carrick enjoyed immense success. He won numerous domestic titles, including five Premier League titles, one FA Cup, three League Cups, and the UEFA Champions League in the 2007-2008 season.
