Andrea Pirlo is retired Italian professional footballer who is widely as one of the best midfielders of his generation. He was born on May 19, 1979, in Flero, Lombardy, Italy. Pirlo began his football career at local club Brescia, where he made his debut in 1995 at the age of 16.
