Christian Tello, born on August 11, 1991, in Sabadell, Spain, is a professional footballer who has made a name for himself in the world of football with his speed, skill, and versatility. Tello primarily plays as a winger but can also operate as a forward or attacking midfielder.


Tello began his footballing his local club, CF Damm. His talent and potential quickly caught the attention of larger clubs, and in 2002, he joined the renowned youth system of FC Barcelona. Under the guidance of world-class coaches and alongside talented teammates, Tello developed his skills and showcased the potential to have a successful career.


After progressing through the ranks of Barcelona's youth setup, Tello made his first-team debut in August 2011 under then-manager Pep Guardiola. He immediately made an impact, scoring a goal in his first appearance in a friendly match against Club América. His impressive performances earned him a spot in the first-team squad for the 2011-2012 season.


During his time at Barcelona, Tello showcased his exceptional pace and technical ability. He often utilized his speed to beat defenders and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Tello's playing style perfectly suited Barcelona's possession-based philosophy, and he became known for his ability to provide assists and score crucial goals.


Tello's breakthrough season came in 2012-2013 when he made 34 appearances for Barcelona, contributing to the team's success by scoring eight goals and providing five assists. His performances earned him the admiration of fans and attracted interest from other clubs. 


In 2013, Tello joined FC Porto on loan, seeking more regular playing time and the opportunity to further develop his skills. During his loan spell, he continued to impress, scoring nine goals in 32 appearances and showcasing his versatility by playing in different attacking positions.


Tello returned to Barcelona for the 2014-2015 season but struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team due to the intense competition for places. In search of more playing time, he joined Serie A club Fiorentina on loan in January 2016. Despite facing some injury setbacks, Tello managed to make an impact, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 15 appearances.


Following his loan spell at Fiorentina, Tello returned to Spain and joined Real Betis in the summer of 2017. His move to Betis proved to be a turning point integral part of the team. Tello's performances for Betis showcased his development as a player, and he contributed with goals and assists regularly.


Over the years, Tello has also represented the Spanish national team at various youth levels. He was a key member of the Spanish U21 team that won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2013, contributing with goals and assists throughout the tournament.


As of now, Tello continues tois, where he remains an important figure in the team player, capable of creating opportunities and scoring goals. With his continued dedication and skill, Tello has the potential to further leave a mark on the world of football.
