During their visit, the committee engaged with the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, apprising them of the imminent celebration and conducting a thorough assessment of the facilities at the designated venue—the Koforidua Youth Resource Center, where the national parade is set to unfold. Strategic recommendations were proffered to ensure the seamless execution and success of the grand event.
A pivotal meeting convened at the Regional Coordinating Council resulted in the establishment of various sub-planning committees, each assigned specific roles to guarantee the meticulous planning and execution of a celebration befitting the nation's independence.
