According to reports from the grieving father, Kester had reached out to express the deterioration of his health condition. Despite this, his housemaster purportedly dismissed the student’s concerns, claiming he did not appear unwell and refused to authorize his departure using an exeat—a document permitting a student to leave the school grounds for a specified period.
With his son’s health rapidly declining, the father rushed to the school, only to encounter resistance from the housemaster.
Determined to address his son’s health crisis, the father took Kester to Oda Government Hospital. However, due to the severity of his condition, he was subsequently referred to Akwatia St. Dominic Hospital.

Concerned citizens have expressed disbelief and dismay at the alleged negligence exhibited by the housemaster of the school, whose duty of care towards the students is now under intense scrutiny.
As the the whole campus and nation mourns the loss of a promising young student, there is a collective demand for accountability and transparency from the authorities responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students within educational institutions.
