The keyboard is an essential component of a PC as I am using the keyboard for writing, specifically known as typing, this content. There are approximately 104 different push buttons or keys on a keyboard. If I ask, 'Do you know the use of all those buttons?' You will probably say 'No' except in peculiar cases if you are a keyboard master. You have seen functional keys on the top row of the keyboards mostly. You have used some of them many times, or there are some function keys whose purpose is unknown to you. The function keys do different tasks in different applications or software. Function keys are also known as F keys. In this article, I am going to discuss the working of all those function keys from F1 to F12 in Windows.
