Kofi Owusu Aduonum, the spouse of entrepreneur Afua Asantewaa, has offered his reflections following the confirmation from Guinness World Records that his wife's Singathon did not achieve record-breaking status.
Despite the setback, the sports journalist conveyed his admiration for his wife, whom he referred to as his heroine, and lauded her for the commendable effort put forth during the five-day sing-a-thon.

Aduonum underscored that the primary aim of the event was to spotlight Ghanaian music on a global platform, and he believes that this objective was effectively accomplished. "We are confident that we have met our goal of showcasing Ghana's music to a global audience," he remarked.

Additionally, Mr. Aduonum stressed that the sing-a-thon played a pivotal role in projecting a positive image of the country to the international community.
Afua Asantewaa addressed the situation on her Facebook page, revealing that she received news of the outcome just moments before she was scheduled to host a gala dinner and launch the Lebanese Scholarship Alumni Network, an event graced by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

In her statement, Afua expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support, hinting at unveiling her next steps in the coming days. "Thank you all for your unwavering love and support. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Success tastes even sweeter when snatched from the jaws of defeat," she wrote, encapsulating her sentiments.
