As Ghana's next big elections approach, the competition is becoming fiercer. The next election to choose Akufo-Addo's successor will take place less than a year from now. Ex-President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia are the leading candidates for the election. Last year, their respective parties chose them to be their flagbearers. While Bawumia was pursued vigorously by Kennedy Agyapong, Mahama was able to secure a resounding majority within his party.
Well, word got out yesterday that John Okafor, better known as "Mr. Ibu," a beloved Nigerian comedic performer, had passed away. Some people hoped he would get well soon after hearing the news, but others believed he needed to let go because he had been in so much pain for months. But in October, months before he passed away, Wordlight Revival Center prophet Clement Testimony predicted that the actor would be attacked and that he would require prayers.
It was mentioned in the Prophet Testimony that if caution is not exercised, Mr. Lbu will die. Well, the actor passed away five months later, and the man of God consoled the family in a Facebook message. John Mahama is another recipient of God's word. He claims that God has chosen John Mahama to be president of Ghana in the next election. The fight that lies ahead will not be easy, so he urged John Mahama to pray.
For months now, this message has lingered with me. God is going to have favor with a guy named John. Before, you were the leader of this nation. As I have mentioned previously, God has told me to tell you that when you assume power, you must hold the fear of the Lord in the highest regard. There, God will take you. The grace of God is upon you. You will rise to prominence once more. "When God raises you up again, do not make the same mistakes you did before," Prophet Testimony admonished.
