In the run-up to the 2024 elections, the pressure is already on Ghanaians. The big political parties are already plotting their strategies and plans for the upcoming elections. Even though Ghana is home to several relevant parties, Throughout Ghana's thirty-two (32) years of political history, just two parties have emerged as the dominant force. These groups include the NPP and the NDC, or National Democratic Congress. The 2024 elections will be a close race between these two parties.

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has sent a clear and concise message or update to all Ghanaians. In this revision, the instructions for the elections of 2024 are included.
"Campaign Finance Committee The schedule for Ghana. The public will be educated on the voter registration activity for 56 days, from April 1st to May 26th, 2024.
The dates of the voter registration drive in 2024 are May 7–27. The replacement of lost voter ID cards will be a nationwide effort on May 30, 2024. Political parties will receive the provisional voter registration list from July 9–18, 2024. Voter registration exhibition, July 15–24, 2024. The last voter registration form is due to political parties on August 30–September 5, 2024. Nominations for presidential and parliamentary candidates are due on September 9–13, 2024. Ballots for the presidency will be cast on September 23, 2024. Elections for legislative seats will take place on September 24, 2024. One day only: December 2, 2024: Voting for chosen experts.
Day of the main election: December 7, 2024.
The result announcement for the presidency is expected within three days of December 7, 2024. A notice was sent out by the head office of the Electoral Commission.
