Following the tragic news of John Kumah's passing today, March 7, 2024, an old video of Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, prophesying about the demise of John Kumah—Ghana’s deputy finance minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency—has resurfaced online. During an all-night session at his church on December 31st, Prophet Nigel Gaisie delivered many prophecies, including the one in issue. Several people had evil intentions to kill John Kumah because of his great political achievements, and Prophet Nigel Gaisie warned him to be careful in the video.

The former MP regrettably passed away earlier, despite this warning. According to asaaseradio.com, a family source has confirmed the sudden death of the Deputy Finance Minister, who was also the MP for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region. Preliminary reports indicate that John Kumah had been fighting an unidentified disease, while the specific reason for his death is yet unknown. When Kumah abruptly left the political and entrepreneurial spheres at the age of 45, it created a vacuum. John Kumah was looked upon as a promising young leader within the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Some even speculated that he may be Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's running mate, given his reputation for excellence and potential within the party. His recent resounding victory in the party's parliamentary primaries, which highlighted his popularity and support among constituents, secured his candidacy for the upcoming general elections. Not only was John Kumah well-known for his political pursuits, but he was also an entrepreneur, preacher, and lawyer.

Before entering parliament, he showed his dedication to promoting innovation and economic growth in Ghana while serving as CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).

Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah and their six children are left to mourn John Kumah's death. Many Ghanaians have also expressed their sympathy after the news went viral.
