Every year on March 8th, the world pauses to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD), a day dedicated to honouring the remarkable social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe. But beyond the social media shout-outs and celebratory posts lies a rich history of resilience, courage, and relentless pursuit of equality that has shaped the modern landscape of women's rights.
