The late John Kumah's wife and family were visited by executives of the New Patriotic Party, led by General Secretary, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua, and Nana Boakye. But in a video that has gone viral, executives are shown refusing food, drink, and water out of concern that they, too, could be poisoned to death, much like John Kumah. The sudden demise of Hon. John Kumah, a lawmaker representing Ejisu in the New Patriotic Party, has shaken Ghana's political system to its core. The suspicion about his cause of death, however, has only served to heighten the grieving process.
Rumors have circulated that Kumah was poisoned while on a campaign tour in Tamale, allegedly by his own party members. The NPP is now paralyzed with dread as a result of the accusations. Party officials' visits to Kumah's family to pay their condolences revealed this dread. A video of the NPP's general secretary, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua, and other officials declining water and refreshments at the home of the late lawmaker went viral on social media.
"Executives of the New Poison Party reject drinks at John Kumah's house," Twitter users commented in response to the video's virality. As a guy, you should drink and see. Party with a new poison. Someone should go drink, JFK said. Look at how they caught sight of the ocean. Definitely get a security guard and send them to TIR2.
The New Poison Party's demonic tactics: who needs fear? My name is Secretary Melow. Perhaps they drank water from their homes, but Captain Smart has always been correct. Everyone, even Akufo-Addo, has their own chair that they use when they travel. "The fear of the New Poison Party is the beginning of wisdom." The NPP executives' refusal of refreshments was a calculated move, not an act of indifference or rudeness.
