Bono East Region: Bishop Calls For Visionary Leadership In Ghana
In a speech delivered at the church pulpit of the Apostles Pentecostal Ministry International, in Techiman in the Bono East Region, the founder and leader of the above Church, Bishop Dr. Stephen Owusu Agyeman issued a strong call for visionary leadership in Ghana, emphatically indicated that it is what God has revealed to him to tell her nation.
Expressing his revelation, he said the current state of politics in the country does not seek for national interest, but partisan benefits and which is not helping the country at all.
The renowned bishop reiterated that he has been praying over the revelation to fully expatiate and emphasized the need for leaders who can navigate the complex challenges facing the nation. We need leaders who can stand up to the task to tackle challenge with the right solutions.
Speaking at Easter event in his church where he was presenting his vision, bishop Owusu Agyeman made it clear that Ghana deserves more than just the usual political rhetoric. Ghana doesn't deserve this kind of politics and the need for our leaders to sit up.
"We need discussions that will prioritize the nation’s interests over party politics, and indeed it should come from wise people", the Bishop bemoaned. We need to stop partisan politics and put the country first to enhance the progress of the nation.
"We need selfless Leadership and Bold Solutions for the future to shed light on the growing sentiment within the country, where the importance of a leadership that can rise above partisan interests and focus on long-term welfare and development of the nation.
Bishop Agyeman stressed on the importance of having leaders who possess wisdom and vision and foresight to tackle issues affecting the nation. As a nation there are so many issues and challenges affecting us and leaders must take this take upon themselves to come out with the relevant and appropriate solutions.
He finally urged every Ghanaian citizen to help chose a visionary leader to help build the betterment of the country. It is the responsibility of ever individual in the country to make sure they participate in choosing the right leader for the country not only based on politics but on the wisdom, vision and quality of leadership kills the leader possess. We need to do this for the future of the nation to be in the right direction for the future and generations to come. He added
