Christianity and social justice

"The Spirit of the Lord is
on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has
sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the

Samaritan and the Prodigal Son, Jesus teaches the importance of empathy,
reconciliation, and breaking down barriers of prejudice and discrimination.
As followers of Christ,
Christians are called to emulate his example by standing up for the
marginalized, speaking out against injustice, and working towards a more just
and equitable society. This includes advocating for the rights of the poor, the
oppressed, refugees, and all those who are marginalized or discriminated against.
