In a sad accident that also included Nollywood actor Jr. Pope, the bodies of a makeup artist and a cameraman have been found. Several people lost their lives in a boat accident that Jr. Pope and others were in on the way back from a film set. Initially, investigators found the remains of Jr. Pope and another actor, but the makeup artist and light/camera assistant remain unaccounted for.

In a recent Instagram post, Stanley Ontop, a renowned director, confirmed the bodies of the makeup artist and light/camera assistant. According to him, the only thing that has not been found yet is the remains of the sound engineer. The public's strong reactions to this news show how the catastrophe affected people all over the world, not just in the film industry.

The family and coworkers of the makeup artist and light/camera assistant have found closure with the recovery of their corpses in the heartbreaking aftermath of the boat tragedy. Stanley Ontop's social media update has garnered a lot of attention and empathy, which highlights how serious the situation is. The search now focuses on finding the last missing person, the sound engineer, to complete the recovery process and provide closure to all involved.

"The speed boat owners/operators should be arrested immediately for violating the law and causing loss of lives. To Nigerians generally, let's stop the attitude of 'it doesn't matter', 'it is not my portion', to the neglect of personal safety reactions under whatever circumstance! Just look at this avoidable tragedy!!"

"Two points to note here ..firstly the two boat drivers that collided leading to these deaths must have been under the influence of  drugs as to be reckless bcos boat collision is rare....so ordinarily the boat would not have capsided ,perhaps why the artist were too confident not to bother about lifejackets.....secondly this type of incidence may have gone unnoticed if not for the calibre of people involved..  therefore authorities should ensure boat operators must provide life jackets ....there must not be this feeling of overconfidence that nothing will happen ,or I am an expert or that my boat is in sound condition ,or the the wind and sea or river is calm ,anything can happen at any time."

"I'm still very sad because of this great loss of lives at once. How on earth could human lives just be taken just like that. There's more to these horrible accident! However a good life jacket or live preserver would have saved the situation. Death comes when humans least expected. "Safety when it is ignored sometimes, death is imminent" So, says, one of my lecturer back then at the Regional Maritime University, Acrra, Ghana. Unfortunately, such is the case right now."
